Promoting the appreciation of the Union Canal centred on Ashley Terrace Boathouse

Join us for the return of the revived of the society’s quiz night! £2 entry per person (suggested team size 4-6) with all proceeds going towards the society. Expect your usual quiz conundrums, with some canal related twists.
The bar will be open serving drinks 🍻 🍷. Show your interest on our facebook event and share to all your quizzing competitors.
Sunday 29th September 2024, midday to 5 pm; opposite the Ashley Terrace Boathouse
To celebrate the end of our rowing boat hire for 2024 we’ll be hiring three of our traditional Rowing Boats from 12 pm. The last hires will be at 4 pm. Each boat will cost £15 to hire, for a 50-minute session, maximum 5-persons per boat.
As well as the opportunity to hire out the boats we’ll have our usual tented-area, opposite the Boathouse, with tea/coffee/cakes available – and holding a raffle on the day with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.
