Promoting the appreciation of the Union Canal centred on Ashley Terrace Boathouse
Sunday 16th April 2023, 2pm (to 5pm); opposite the Ashley Terrace Boathouse
We’ll have our usual tented-area, opposite the Boathouse, with tea/coffee/cakes available – and we’ll be hiring TWO of our (fully refurbished) traditional rowing boats at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Each boat will cost £10 to hire, for a 50-minute session, maximum 5-persons per boat.
We thereafter plan to keep hiring out the two rowing boats, every Sunday afternoon, right through to September.

The “Flotilla” will pass-by around 6pm!… we’ll also be holding a raffle raising funds for the new society, with some great prizes on offer from various local businesses.

The winning tickets were 128 (blue) ; 71 (yellow) ; 27 (yellow) ; 41 (yellow) ; 87 (yellow), who have now all been contacted.
